Following receipt of the Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Award in 2011, for our collaborative BUSC project completed together, our American development partners TJAC Boutique Student Living again put Ceerose to work seeking out a new site within the Sydney CBD, proximate to Sydney’s premier educational institutions.

The goal was to establish a second student living centre to surpass the quality of the first, ensuring an insightful, student friendly project that helps realise educational goals at affordable prices.

The former NSW Nurses Association headquarters in Camperdown provided the opportunity to adaptively reuse this historic building for student accommodation, with studio apartments comprising kitchenettes and ensuites, and 4 and 5 bedroom apartments providing opportunity for more affordable shared living arrangements.

Architects Allen Jack + Cottier have demonstrated their considerable skill as one of Australia’s leading experts in student accommodation design in delivery of the Miguel Cordero Residence, whilst executing a development that balances the needs of the client, ensuring affordability in construction and superior amenity for intending residents.
